JAYBEE announces launch of remote telephone update feature for SmartButler®

New feature allows for status updates of SmartButler® tickets from in-house telephones.

JAYBEE systems, the developer of SmartButler®, has announced the launch of a new telephone update feature for SmartButler®.

The new feature will allow for the status of SmartButler® tickets to be updated from any in-house telephone. This means that staff attending to open calls will be able to dial in to the SmartButler® update number from any in-house phone and update the status of the ticket on the system, or close the ticket if the service has been carried out.

Mr. Joseph Ron, JAYBEE's Managing Director, commented that the new feature addresses the highly problematic area of communication between the service providers and the central system operator. "Following the release of our SMS update feature, this feature is further evidence of our commitment to try to make this communication as efficient as possible. Better communication means a better, more efficient service for the guest", he said.

The new feature is available to all existing customers of SmartButler® with valid Support and Maintenance Agreements. It may necessitate the purchase of a modem by the customers in order to install the service.
