JAYBEE Launches "SMS to Guests" Service

New use of SMS tool for direct communication with Guests.

JAYBEE Systems, the developer of the hotel Guest Service Centre Software - SmartButler®, has announced the launch of of a new use of its SMS tool to communicate directly with guests of the hotel.

The "SMS to Guests" service can be used for purposes of being in contact with in-house guests, as well as guests that have recently departed the hotel. This allows the marketing of hotel services to guests in the house, as well as the ability to forward messages to them if required. Recently departed guests can be contacted for a one time after-stay message. The messages can be sent out manually, or can be pre-programmed to be sent out on a certain date or when a certain event occurs.

The "SMS to Guest" service derives the required information via SmartButler®'s interface to Fidelio or other PMS systems. It is also possible to use this feature in JAYBEE's SmartClub product that builds a database of customers for future marketing use and contact purposes.

Mr. Joseph Ron, Managing Director of JAYBEE Systems, commented that the new service is already in use by a customer site that communicates with each guest by SMS one day after checkout to thank them for staying at the hotel. "Guests have been amazed at this new feature and have even responded by sending their own SMS response back to the hotel. This feedback is all captured and monitored by the hotel".

The service is offered to those users of SmartButler® who have valid Support and Maintenance Agreements with JAYBEE.
