JAYBEE Announces New SmartButler^® Web Reports

SmartButler^® now gives users the option of viewing pre-defined reports that can be accessed in a quick and easy way. This is in addition to the existing graphs, and report engine that can be used to generate customised reports.

JAYBEE Systems, the developer of the hotel Guest Service Centre software SmartButler^®, has announced the addition of “Web Reports” to SmartButler^®. This allows quick and easy access to a standardised report that can be accessed at any time, and that will provide updated information at all times.

The Web Report provides summary information about call tickets that were opened during the period of time that is defined by the report. Each report uses the same format to make it easy for readers to interpret the information presented.

Web Reports can be viewed, even by those who are not running SmartButler^®, as there is no need to launch SmartButler^® to view the reports. The report contains an easy-to-read visual summary of the information on the first page, which includes graphs and tables which are simple to interpret. The reports are also dynamic which means that one click can expand or collapse pieces of information to allow users to read it in a detailed or summarised format. Standard reports have been developed for differing time periods, making it easy for users to choose the report that best provides the information that they are seeking.

The development of Web Reports came in response to a particular customer request. It provides an additional tool to allow users to take advantage of the valuable data that is contained in the SmartButler^®. Ultimately, this can only assist in providing a better service for guests, and helping the hotel team to work in a more efficient way.
